Who we are looking for
State Street is looking for an entry level java and database engineer to be a part of the agile development team in order to develop, enhance and maintain Alternate Investment Services platform. This is an opportunity to work within a very strong development team and help to create challenging new solutions in the back-office space using cutting edge technology.
This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.
What you will be responsible for
  • Design and architect the consumption Data Marts and Extracts in ESP.
  • Migrating Core and consumption Data Marts from ESP to State Street Core Data (SNOWFLAKE)·
  • Performance tuning Data Marts and writing Oracle Stored procedures.
  • Maintaining and enhancing the platform’s existing Extract Transform Load (ETL) code and scripts.
  • Creating custom Data extracts for Client specific deliverables.
  • Performing root cause analysis to identify major issues for clients.
  • Mapping client requirements and functioning as a point of contact for delivery.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors / Undergraduate qualifications
  • Experienced in Oracle / PL-SQL, UNIX, Networking
  • Knowledge of Cloud technologies and Data Warehousing concepts
  • Knowledge of Agile concepts and process

Salary Range:
$100,000 - $160,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
