Applications Engineer, Biofuels - Full Time - Houston (TX), United States

Our future is biobased. We at Sulzer CT are providing key separation applications in different industrial low carbon industries which are key critical for decarbonization. This is a great opportunity for a canadidate passionate about biobased/biofuel industries who can make a great contribution and positive environmental impact as well as create synergies within different groups within our organization.

Join our Chemtech Americas (CT AME) team within Chemtech division in United States as Applications Engineer, Biofuels to help us take biobased solutions to the next level.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

• Performing simulations for bio-based applications
• Performing hydraulic evaluations of distillation columns and auxiliaries
• Visiting clients and troubleshooting plant operations
• Developing technical and commercial proposals and presenting to clients

What you bring to Sulzer:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
• Experience of operations/design of biobased applications
• Knowledge of distillation / mass transfer
• Knowledge of Pro II / Aspen / ChemCad with the ability to build simulations from scratch
