Senior R&D Hardware Engineer

Apptronik is seeking a Senior R&D Hardware Engineer to lead the design of dexterous multi-finger robotic hands and solve complex robotic challenges. The role focuses on innovative product development to improve quality of life.

Skills

Expert in 3D CAD software
Experience in prototype hardware design
Simulation and analysis methodologies
Experience with miniature actuators
Electromechanical integration experience

Responsibilities

Lead the design of dexterous multi-finger robotic hands
Participate in system level decisions regarding hand design
Use analytical methodologies for design and optimization
Conduct CAD design, analysis, documentation, and verification
Prototype and experiment with mechanical subsystems

Education

Bachelor’s or master's in Mechanical Engineering or related field
