We're seeking to expand our sales team to focus as we’re seeing a fast increase in both volume and diversity of inbound interest. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment, being part of the highest-growth division within Aquaria. The ideal candidate will possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit—driven, fast execution, and a self directed problem-solver. This role is demanding and is most suitable to someone who is seeking to learn quickly and grow their career as their top priority.

 

Types of things we expect someone to do / work with us on:

The Inbound Sales Development Representative’s main responsibility is to nurture relationships with inbound prospects, and qualify them into leads for our sales pipeline. You will be the crucial first touchpoint for all new prospects and thus, will have a direct impact on our sales pipeline. Below are some of the details of the day-to-day duties:

  1. Responsibility Overview - Handle inbound inquiries and nurture relationships with prospects who may benefit from our atmospheric water generator products of all sizes.
  2. Identifying Opportunities - Filtering new prospects using data-backed insights and identifying qualified prospects to move through the sales pipeline. You are expected to manage new prospects from varying customer segments, industries, and countries.
  3. Appointment Setting - Convert qualified prospects into meetings with our sales team to drive the pipeline forward.This will mean identifying the best-fit customer segment (D2C, B2B, etc.) the prospect falls into and connecting them with the appropriate sales specialist within Aquaria.
  4. Collaboration - Connect with Marketing teams to develop a better understanding of the types of leads coming in. Touch-base frequently with the marketing team to produce promotional materials that drive leads. 
  5. Continuous Improvement, Market Research - Come up or discover through research new communication and or sales strategies. Perform some market research to identify instances of new or historical water challenges.
  6. Other related projects and tasks may be assigned from time to time. 

Our ideal candidate for this role is someone who is goal-oriented and unyielding in their drive to achieve and exceed expectations in terms of lead generation and prospecting.

1. Bachelor’s degree major in business, business administration or marketing is preferred, or equivalent work experience.

2. 2-4 years of work experience in Sales/Business Development and with a successful track record in prospecting and lead generation. 

3. Preferably with exposure to the following industries (either internally as procurement officers inside the industries, or as sales): 

    • HVAC, Plumbing, Solar, Battery, Backup Generator
    • General contracting
    • Construction industry (remote development, sustainable construction or design)
    • Hospitality (hotels, F&B, etc)
    • Builder (Residential production & custom builders, commercial builders)

4. Highly proficient with sales and CRM technologies, specifically Hubspot, Aircall, and Salesloft (Salesloft experience a bonus)

5. Excellent command of written and spoken English is a must. 

6. Demonstrated skills in the areas of lead generation, prospecting, and closing. 

7. Highly organized and also flexible to work schedules to align with high traffic inbound hours.

8. A strong passion for sustainability and water issues and experience in a startup or the Cleantech industry is a huge advantage
