Our apparen client is looking for a Store Design Manager to work with their Sr. Director of Design and Creative Services!Supports Creative Services Team which is department under Store Development and responsibilities include:Advocate for the design process and design innovation through strategic planningHas a strategic point of view on store design process and implementation. Adept and dynamic manager throughout all phases of a project.Manage of development for high profile cross brand projects through all phases from concept to constructionAbility to propose design solutions and recommendations to resolve for project specific issuesFoster relationships to drive design alignment with cross-functional partners and brand stakeholdersKey collaborator integrating Design with internal (Architecture & Engineering, Construction, Technical Services), Brand partners and external consultants.Perform checks of assigned projects to ensure complete coordination and manifestation of brand specific design standardsProject ManagementDevelop project schedules, identity key milestones, and action tracking for deliverables and approvals.Risk management of responsible for Creative Services scope, schedule and budget. Anticipate and proactively identify potential hurdles and drive toward solutionsOrganize and document Creative Services Department workload and workflow. Own intake of design requests and develop execution planning.Consultant and Vendor Management inclusive of sourcing, contracting and accounting functionsOrganize project meetings and structure to meet goals and milestonesOwn and facilitate Weekly Project Status MeetingsResponsible for making decisions to resolve any issues, communicate out to key business partners and executive leadership when appropriateManage Departmental Budget documentation and trackingQualifications:Excellent understanding of proportion and ability to translate ideas, forms, and functions into cohesive design conceptsSkill to create, understand and translate three dimensional space conceptsExcellent verbal and visual communication skillsAbility to multi-task between different brands, scope and project typesMinimum 5-7 years work experience in interior or architectural design; 2 years retail design preferredMinimum of 2 years experience in supervisory roleBachelor’s degree in Architecture, Industrial Design, Interior DesignTravel as requiredFlexible to work with Business Partners in different time zonesAutoCAD, 3D rendering, PhotoShop, Illustrator, or any graphic program preferredThe target hiring compensation range for this role is $43.30 to $48.11 an hour.
