This is an on-site role in Seattle.Pay Range: $50/hr - $59/hrOur client is a leader in the gaming space and is looking for someone who can create and execute high-quality design work consistent with the visual style developed in collaboration with the Art Director and the UX Director.Job Responsibilities:• Implement complex UI screens for interactive game features including data-driven dynamic layouts, animations, and transitions• Assist with troubleshooting UI artist issues with tooling and content authoring pipelines• Contribute to a visual library of XAML components for use in UI screens• Collaborate with a dynamic team of technical UI artists, designers, and other developers to deliver in-game UI screens• Recommend improvements that help develop dependable UI content workflows through acquiring deep knowledge of our UI content data flow, tooling, and rendering techniques• Benchmark, debug, and optimize UI, while balancing visuals and performanceQualifications:• BS/BA degree in Graphic Design, User Interface, Art, Computer Science or a related field• Extensive experience with XAML and Microsoft Blend• Familiarity with C++ is beneficial but not required• A portfolio that demonstrates examples of problem-solving and UI intuition across a variety of projects• Experience shipping content with a limited performance budget• Interest in accessibility and multi-platform scalable UI is preferredThe target hiring compensation range for this role is $50/hr - $59/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
