Our client is a leading tech company dedicated to developing innovative software solutions that ensure the safety and security of its organization and employees. Their Physical Security team is at the forefront of creating software that manages access and security protocols, helping to ensure that team members have the right level of access to perform their duties effectively. Our client is seeking a talented Product Designer to join their Physical Security team. The successful candidate will address medium-complexity design and user problems with minimal guidance, using established design principles and patterns. This role requires an individual who can independently make decisions to improve quality and consistency within the scope of a project, identify and solve design problems, and work closely with cross-functional teams.Overall Responsibilities:Address medium-complexity design and user problems with minimal guidance, leveraging established design principles and patterns.Identify and follow design templates, style guides, and accessibility guidelines to maintain consistency across projects.Independently make decisions that improve quality and consistency within a feature or project scope.Proactively identify, define, and communicate problems within project or product teams, delivering practical and creative solutions.Create design concepts (e.g., mock-ups, prototypes) to inform product direction, ideation, and user research/testing.Collaborate regularly with UX, product management, and engineering teams to communicate and influence design intentions.Iteratively improve designs based on UX testing and partner/stakeholder input with minimal guidanceQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.4+ years of experience in product design or UX.Experience designing and building prototypes in Figma.Familiarity with established design guidelines and frameworks.Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.The target hiring compensation range for this role is $73.10 to $81.22 an hour.
