We are looking for a talented and creative Beauty Video Editor to join our team and help us create stunning video content for our upcoming beauty campaigns and product launches. You will be responsible for taking raw footage and transforming it into engaging and visually captivating videos that will capture the attention of our audience and generate excitement for our products. Responsibilities: • Edit and produce high-quality video content for social media campaigns and product launches, including YouTube videos, Instagram Reels, and TikTok videos. • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to understand campaign goals and brand messaging. • Work from raw footage, including makeup tutorials, product demonstrations, influencer content, and behind-the-scenes snippets, to create a cohesive and dynamic video story. • Apply color correction, transitions, graphics, motion elements, and sound effects to enhance the visual and auditory impact of the videos. • Optimize videos for different social media platforms to ensure maximum reach and engagement. • Stay up-to-date on the latest beauty trends and video editing techniques. • Meet deadlines consistently and work effectively under pressure. Qualifications: • Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio showcasing work in the beauty industry (a plus). • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro. • Excellent understanding of color grading and audio editing principles. • A creative eye for storytelling and a passion for the beauty industry. • Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Experience with social media video formats and best practices is a plus. Bonus points: • Experience working with beauty products and makeup techniques. • Knowledge of current beauty trends and social media influencers. • Strong understanding of SEO best practices for video content. Client Description The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $50 to $55 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
