Why This Role Is Important to Arcadia
In this position you will work with the Training and Enablement team and with key stakeholders across our Operations division and the broader company. You will be leading our Knowledge Management efforts.
As Arcadia continues to grow, we want to scale up and optimize our management of content across our different teams and topics. The intent is to provide a smooth experience for Arcadians when researching topics and optimize our handling of content creation with clear approach to managing this content effectively.
What Success Looks Like
In 3 months
- Good understanding of the Arcadia organization and how content is created and managed across Operations.
- Contributes to existing key content workflow for the Operations division
In 6 months
- Clear ownership of content creation and related workflows for Operations.
- Strong partnership with Product and Engineering teams in coordination of knowledge management.
- Leverage new processes and technology to drive knowledge management.
In 12 months
- Be a leader in Knowledge management.
- Have strong relationships across the company to leverage SMEs and sustainably drive knowledge management.
- Leverage technology to optimize knowledge management.
What You'll Be Doing- Working cross-functionally with SMEs and other teams (onboarding, production support, product, engineering, etc.)
- Engaging as Operations lead in our key knowledge processes (Internal and External - user manual, Confluence, Jira, Box, Sharepoint, Bloomfire, …)
- Taking ownership of Operations specific content workflow where needed
- Developing processes to optimize knowledge management
- Facilitating/driving the efficient creation, distribution, and curation of knowledge within the organization
- Providing hands on expertise in the development and implementation of templates, learning models, and overall best practices
- Contributing fully to the Training and Enablement team mission and its ongoing development, curation, and delivery of new content
What You'll Bring- The ideal candidate will be an organized self-starter with a strong bias for action. The role requires strong project management skills, change management and strong communication skills
- 5 years of overall work experience in SaaS environment preferably in knowledge management, project management, tech writing, content creation, enablement, managing content/knowledge and information architecture strategies
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- A proven record managing cross-functional projects with process changes
- Technical aptitude and excitement to quickly learn new technologies
- Experience with process design and efficient information architecture
- Experience with KB management
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills including ability to create materials in Microsoft Power Point, Excel, Word, etc.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with diverse colleagues in a cross-cultural, multi-disciplinary environment
- Attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in communication, education, or computer sciences preferred
Would Love For You To Have- Prior experience in knowledge management and knowledge management systems
- Good user experience with Confluence, Jira, Box, Sharepoint, Pendo, Camtasia
- Experience in leveraging Gen AI for content creation, or other aspects such as search, reporting, advanced querying
