Software Engineering Fall Intern

We are seeking someone who will thrive in a startup culture working alongside our team to launch an exciting product. As an intern working with the engineering team, you will have opportunities to work across the full software stack and collaborate cross-functionally. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to learn how to operate independently and define your own success with guidance from our experienced team. Our mentorship approach fosters self-direction while ensuring you have the support needed to grow and make meaningful contributions to our projects.What you’ll do:• Work on tasks involving Python, React, and JavaScript to develop and enhance our systems.• Use Terraform and CloudFormation to manage and deploy cloud infrastructure efficiently.• Develop a cost-estimate widget powered by Generative AI and supported by Snowflake, a project that could make a substantial contribution during your internship.• Build and maintain a discovery catalog to improve our system's functionality and user experience.• Work closely with different teams to integrate JavaScript and Python solutions into existing projects.• Gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies and methodologies used in scalable distributed systems.• Attend standups and meet with engineering leadership.Who you are:• Ability to work at 20-40 hours/week during fall 2024• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or similar technical field of study• Graduating by June 2025• Prior internship experience developing and launching products• Familiar with: Python, Javascript (React,) Terraform, Cloudformation, Go, etc.• Proficient in understanding and integrating open-source projects into the existing software infrastructure• Understands Object Oriented ProgrammingBenefits:• Competitive hourly rate• Opportunities for professional development and advancement within the company.• Dynamic and collaborative work environment with a focus on innovation and excellence.Archera is an equal opportunity employer
