The Early Talent IBT Technology Architect position at Cox Enterprises provides an exciting opportunity for a recent college graduate to contribute to the organization's Enterprise Architecture Group. The primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Supporting Cox Enterprises' four core EA pillars: EA Technology Management and Governance, Solution Architecture Delivery, Platform Enablement (Data Services - Integration and Analytics, DevOps, and Cloud), and IT Strategy and Innovation.
- Conducting research on innovative technology trends that have the potential to benefit the company. Summarizing the findings in PowerPoint presentations to communicate key insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with teams to design and develop Chat GPT LLM-based solutions, including proof-of-concept development and integration into existing systems or new applications.
- Assisting with Solutions Architecture tasks throughout the solutions development lifecycle, supporting the creation of architecture documents, and ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Actively participating in technology-driven meetings to gain a deeper understanding of the role of architecture in project delivery and contribute to the successful implementation of technology solutions.
- Conduct research on AI technologies, specifically Chat GPT LLM, to identify integration opportunities for business processes and user experiences.
- Collaborating with the technology organization to generate ideas and innovative approaches to meet the company's business needs.
The ideal candidate for this role will meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as 12 years' experience in a related field.
- Possessing basic computer skills and familiarity with desktop PC-based systems and mobile devices.
- Demonstrating excellent communication and organizational skills, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Adapting well to a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Having knowledge of data science and analytics, with the ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with DevOps and automation would be advantageous.
- Strong foundation in AI and machine learning concepts, with coursework or projects focused on natural language processing (NLP) and deep learning.
- Passion for staying updated with the latest advancements in AI technologies and a drive for continuous learning and exploration.
- Programming skills in languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java are a plus.
- Having a foundational understanding of Microsoft Office 365 software products.
- Previous experience working independently and relying on judgment to carry out responsibilities effectively.
Preferred
- Degree in related discipline strongly desired (Computer Science, Information Systems).
- Advanced or master's degree is acceptable.
