As the Retail Brand Marketing Specialist, NSO – EMEA, you are responsible for flawless execution of retail and brand moments in new Brand and Mountain Stores in EMEA that support our vertical campaigns and initiatives. Reporting to the Manager, Retail & Trade Marketing – EMEA, you manage delivery of strategic marketing plans for Arc’teryx New Store Openings. Motivated by results and inspired by creating elevated and innovative retail experiences, you deliver projects and tasks in alignment with the retail engagement goals. You are passionate about retail and obsess with details on bringing the brand to life.
The ideal candidate is collaborative and able to support projects with cross functional teams, external partners and vendors. Experienced in vertical retail environments, the Retail Brand Marketing Specialist, NSO - EMEA can support store programming and New Store Opening projects.
This role is based out of our Garching office, near Munich and is open to hybrid remote work (3 days at the office – 2 days at home). Candidates must be eligible to work in Germany.

The EMEA Marketing team is composed of a passionate group of professionals, all with an international background. The main objective of the department is to develop and execute consumer-facing regional and global strategies for the European markets and open new Brand and Mountain Stores in key epicenters in the Region.
In addition to reporting to the Retail & Trade Marketing Manager – EMEA and working closely with the Retail & Trade Marketing team, you will be collaborating cross-functionally with team members from the Community, Experiences, Sports Marketing and PR & Media teams in EMEA and the Retail Brand Marketing teams at HQ.
If you were the Retail Brand Marketing Specialist, NSO - EMEA now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:- Supporting the concept development of the guest journey in new Brand and Mountain Stores in EMEA, from locally relevant brand elements development to production and installation management while maintaining premium and consistent brand storytelling aligned with current brand standards and brand focus.
- Implementing and localizing the brand and seasonal key initiatives including windows, seasonal in-store elements, graphics and product communication for new and existing stores within the EMEA retail fleet.
- Developing and documenting in-store and window executions at EMEA retail stores focusing on documentation, vendor briefs and store communication.
- Supporting the management of key external agencies, print vendors and installer relationships, sourcing appropriate suppliers, negotiating prices and sales terms.
- Collaborating with Visual Merchandising, Store Design teams, Brand Store teams and as well as global Retail Brand Marketing teams (RBM), in new store development process to ensure an integrated approach to RBM.
- Supporting and developing graphic executions for new store & renovation construction hoarding.
- You pitch-back global brand teams about specific regional assets needs.
The role requires to travel 30% of the time across EMEA.

Are you our next Retail Brand Marketing Specialist, NSO - EMEA?- You have 3+ years experience in Retail Marketing and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Design, or related field
- You have proven success in a fast-paced, cross-functional integrated marketing environment, as well as the ability to thrive in a dynamic, constantly evolving, and highly competitive industry
- You are a performance focused individual with experience working from concept to completion, dealing with ambiguity and working toward clarity, while maintaining high quality in outcomes and a strong sense of accountability
- You have Project Management expertise (ex: driving timelines and managing budget), strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to plan and prioritize
- You have the ability to establish relationships, collaborate and influence across all levels, functions, geographies - internal and external
- You have a strong understanding of a multi-brand and retail landscape, cross-functional, vertically integrated organization and of the EMEA market
- You always seek for the latest trends and innovations for retail
- You can communicate professionally in English, German and/or French is an asset
- You have knowledge of the sports apparel industry, ideally also of Arc’teryx
- Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it
