You will oversee the staffing, clinical, financial, and operational outcomes for four or more sights with frequent on-site visits including patient care treatment hours as directed. As an Area Manager, you will effectively cascade information to your team, supervisor, and customers to support the mission, values and vision of TMC. Pay Range: $75,000.00 - $115,000.00 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Supports the Mission, Values and Vision of TMC.
  • Operational responsibilities to oversee 4 or more sites.
  • Lead and direct the work of Therapy Care Navigators.
  • Ensure staffing levels are planned and scheduled, as needed, in accordance with Medicare/facility/ Therapy Management Corporation, TMC, requirements.
  • Ensure documentation including, but not limited to, new hire paperwork is completed in accordance with Human Resource policies prior to beginning work and/or patient care. Ensure the education of all new hires with regard to company policies, procedures and documentation.
  • Participate in facility and Therapy Management Corporation meetings as required.
  • Assist/educate Therapy Care Navigators, TCNs, to ensure accuracy, timeliness and organization of all paperwork in accordance to Medicare and Therapy Management Corporation requirements.
  • Assist/educate Rehab Directors to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and organization of billing and payroll logs according to TMC policies.
  • Monitor therapists’ productivity and provide guidance/direction to maximize performance if results are below standards.
  • Inform TCNs of all changes in policies and procedures as dictated by facility, Medicare, insurance, and TMC and ensure the communication flow continues to all departmental staff members.
  • Responsible for daily interaction with facility and TMC staff; promote a positive work environment.
  • Assist in the maintenance and implementation of special programs.
  • Ensure timely completion performance reviews in their area, which will include making recommendations with regard to new hires and promotional situations.
  • Counsel staff when necessary with direct input and approval from Regional Director, and Vice President of Human Resources. This will include all levels of discipline from informal staff meetings to terminations.
  • Ensure therapy department has sufficient supplies/equipment by making requests as appropriate.
  • Comply with his/her discipline specific job description including but not limited to the physical strength requirements.
  • Develop professional working relationships with TMC staff, client/facility team members, residents, and resident family members, as appropriate.
  • Communicate relevant facility, patient, and/or staff issues to Regional Director in a timely fashion.
  • Meet standards and accomplish goals related to utilization and finances as established by TMC.
  • Review and prepare reports.
  • Any other job duties as assigned by the Regional Director.
  • Patient-care treatment hours required as directed.
  • Appropriate and timely completion of the Ops Site Review Reports
  • This position is responsible for directing all of the personnel functions of their assigned sites in accordance with the policies and practices of the corporation, the ethical and social consciences of business and society and the laws, regulations and administrative rulings of government organizations and other regulatory and advisory authorities.
Qualifications:
  • PT/PTA, OT/OTA or SLP License required
  • 2+ years’ experience in the healthcare field, working knowledge of Medicare, insurances and resident rights.
  • Licensed by the State in his/her respective therapy program.
  • Ability to lift/turn, move positions, and transport patients in minimal assist situations.
  • Ability to lift and control a minimum of 50 lbs.
