ArenaNet is seeking a Lead Concept Artist for a new project, who will manage the Concept Art Team and collaborate closely with the Art Director to deliver high-quality art for games, leveraging their extensive experience in game development.

Skills

Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Advanced understanding of visual design and anatomy
Experience with game development pipelines
Ability to create and maintain style guides
Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

Generate high-quality concept art aligning with the game's vision
Develop efficient workflows for timely asset delivery
Collaborate with departments for seamless art integration
Create and maintain style guides for consistent visual direction
Lead and mentor concept artists to ensure artistic quality
Stay current with industry trends and push creative boundaries

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Art or related field
