Responsibilities
- Review policies to verify acceptability based on underwriting guidelines.
- Determine acceptance, modification, or decline of risks.
- Oversee and approve endorsements.
- Resolve premium audit disputes.
- Utilize underwriting tools for accurate classifications and rates.
- Review state laws for transactions.
- Conduct external agency audits.
- Consult with agents/brokers for further information.
- Create and analyze data reports.
- Manage underwriting territory and agent relationships.
Education
- Bachelor's degree
- Insurance experience desirable
