Armed Security Officer

"Armed Security Officer - Atlanta Metro Area

Seeking security professionals who are detail oriented for both full and part-time positions in the metro Atlanta area. Our officers are typically responsible for a variety of security tasks, such as:

Patrolling on foot or in a vehicle;
Interacting and communicating with client employees, company guests, and vendor personnel;
Reinforcing site-specific access control requirements, general security procedures, and safety policies;
Coordinating with emergency first responders ;
Maintaining a high-visibility profile;
Delivering excellent customer service throughout the shift - every day & every shift.

Requirements

Must be able to work any shift including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must have ability to be at work on time.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a complex background investigation and a post-offer / pre-employment drug screening.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must have basic computer skills.
Must be able to stand and walk for periods of time.

Pay Range: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

****24 Hour Basic Georgia Security Guard certification required.****

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING CONDITIONS
While performing this job, individual will walk, stand, sit, observe and drive for extended periods of time in various weather conditions; run, climb stairs, and carry fire extinguishers or other emergency equipment; help restrain or lift a person; occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds; frequently required to use hands, handle or feel objects or controls, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear; specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus; self-motivation and ability to work independent of immediate supervision.
