Arthur Grand Technologies is currently seeking a highly motivated and Skilled Mechanical Systems Engineer for one of our clients

 Position:  Mechanical Systems Engineer
Location: Richland, WA ( (Onsite)
Long Term Contract

Job Summary:
In this role, you will participate in the design, development, and evaluation of mechanical components and processes. You will collaborate and support other engineering disciplines for mechanical matters. Your professional work knowledge and abilities through the application of standard mechanical engineering techniques and criteria will enable you to make impactful contributions to the team.

This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and will require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership

Major Responsibilities:
• Assists in the design, development, modification and evaluation of mechanical components and processes used utilizing relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), design standards.
• Compiles, adjusts, and correlates data that will develop professional work knowledge and abilities through the application of standard mechanical engineering techniques, procedures and criteria utilizing relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), design standards and guides.

• Provides direct support to other engineering disciplines for mechanical related matters
• Researches, designs, develops, and evaluates mechanical components, products, and systems by using applied mechanical engineering principles
• Coordinates development and presentation of material when requested

Education and Experience Requirements:
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical (or related) Engineering or in lieu of degree a minimum of 4-5 years of relevant work experience
• Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical (if located at the construction site), and background check which includes verification of employment and education.
• Must be able to obtain a Federal badge for access to the Hanford Site. (Even if teleworking, must still be able to comply with security requirements to obtain a badge)
