Web Marketing Project Manager
Location: Bangalore, India
We are looking for Web Marketing Project Manager to lead the development, management, and optimization of our WordPress-based corporate website, aligning it with marketing objectives to enhance user experience and digital presence. This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in web management, digital marketing strategies, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will mentor a team of web developers, manage multiple web projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
You will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Digital Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- 7+ years in web development and management, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role overseeing a corporate marketing website.
- Expertise in WordPress CMS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and web development technologies. Strong understanding of SEO, content management systems, and web analytics tools.
- Experience managing large-scale web projects using Agile methodologies, such as Scrum. Strong project management and budgeting skills.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and experience making data-driven decisions.
- Project Management Certification (PMP or Agile Certified Practitioner), knowledge of UX design principles, and experience with digital marketing strategies.
Bird’s eye view of your role:
- Oversee the maintenance, performance, and optimization of our WordPress websites, ensuring they are secure, up-to-date, and user-friendly.
- Implement SEO best practices to improve site visibility and search rankings.
- Develop and execute a long-term web strategy in alignment with corporate marketing goals
- Lead cross-functional teams, including internal staff and external agencies, to deliver high-quality web projects on time and within budget.
- Guide and mentor a team of senior web developers, fostering best practices, project execution, and continuous improvement.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to website functionality.
- Work closely with the marketing team to update website content, launch new web pages, and maintain consistent brand messaging.
- Manage content development, staging, and publication processes.
- Monitor website analytics to gather insights, track performance, and make informed recommendations for improvements.
- Manage risks, issues, and escalations proactively to ensure project success.
- Ensure website security and compliance with relevant regulations and best practices to protect user data.
- Maintain standards for web content, accessibility, and multimedia usage.
- Stay updated with the latest web technologies, trends, and industry best practices.
- Proactively suggest new ideas and innovations to enhance our digital presence and user experience.
