Staff Accountant

Ascend Analytics is an innovative software and consulting company focused on energy analytics. We are looking for a Staff Accountant who is passionate about clean energy and an aspiring leader to help maintain financial records and support our finance team.

Skills

Accounting principles
Financial analysis
Knowledge of financial systems

Detail-oriented

Responsibilities

Record journal entries and complete balance sheet reconciliations
Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
Review and process customer contracts and invoices
Monitor vendor relationships and ensure accurate entry of purchase orders
Assist with annual audit and other financial engagements

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
CPA a plus
