Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Staff Accountant to join our clients' accounting team. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of both remote and in-office work, providing the perfect balance between professional collaboration and personal convenience. The System Accountant will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of our financial systems, ensuring data integrity, accuracy in financial reporting, and seamless integration with other business systems. This role is essential for supporting the efficiency and effectiveness of our accounting operations and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.Key Responsibilities:• System Management: Manage and maintain the organization’s financial systems, including configuration, updates, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.• Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data within the system, conducting regular audits and reconciliations to verify data consistency.• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process automation and improvement within the financial systems, working with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements.• System Integration: Oversee the integration of the financial system with other business applications, ensuring seamless data flow between systems.• User Support: Provide technical support and training to end-users, assisting them in navigating the system, resolving issues, and optimizing their use of the system.• Compliance and Security: Ensure that financial systems comply with relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies, and maintain high security standards to protect sensitive financial information.• Reporting and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial reports within the system, and assist in analyzing system-generated data to support management decision-making.• Project Management: Lead or participate in financial system implementation projects, including needs assessment, vendor selection, system testing, and deployment.• Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, processes, and user guidelines to support ongoing system management and training initiatives.Qualifications:• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field. CPA or relevant certification is a plus.• Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years of experience working with financial systems. Experience in system implementation and integration is highly desirable.• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
