ASIC Design Verification Engineer (Principal/Senior Staff/Staff/Senior)

The main function of the Verification Engineer is to work with a group of researchers and engineers to own the electrical system level verification of Black Sesame Technologies 's products. Working closely with researchers, architects, and designers in architecting methods of electrical verification for multiple state of the art systems. Using verification skills to define verification requirements, create test cases, design, and implement the testing infrastructure, execute the testing, and report the results for the new product designs.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and build system and unit-level UVM verification environment
• Create system and unit-level verification plans from specification and review with design engineers
• Debug failures and manage bug tracking
• Conduct verification reviews and set standard for coding quality

Qualifications:

• Master or higher degree in EE or CS or proof of skills in related fields, with practical engineering experience
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin
• Proficiency in System Verilog, Object Oriented Programming, Scripting Languages
• Experience in UVM development
• Experience in debugging designs of video codec, ISP and peripherals (MIPI, USB, memory controller, etc.) a plus
• Bilingual Mandarin Preferred
