Summary
The Senior Manager of Digital Engineering will be a key contributor to the growing IT Team through overseeing the development and implementation of digital solutions, managing a team of developers, and ensuring the successful operation of the digital ecosystem. They will support a strategic roadmap that will improve the digital guest experience and bring that experience in line with the promise of the Aspen One brands. The Digital Engineering Senior Manager will provide inputs on technical and product decisions, manage vendors, ensure the quality of code going into our digital ecosystem, enhance and maintain development best practices, provide inputs to the digital product roadmap, and own the support and maintenance of our digital technology, including but not limited to our APIs, integrations, mobile app database, and custom applications.
This role will be based near our office locations in Aspen, CO or in Denver, CO.
The budgeted salary range for this position is $106,900- $140,626. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience; all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.

Supervision Given: Exercises general supervision over a team of digital engineers. Assigns a variety of routine tasks, sets general expectations of results expected within company’s policies and procedures. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Supervision Received: Works under limited supervision of the Director of Digital and Data Engineering. Receives guidance in terms of broad goals and overall objectives and is responsible for establishing strategical methods to attain them. Can formulate policies but does not necessarily have final authority for approval. Review of work is not detailed and emphasizes accomplishment of broad work objectives, rather than specific assignments.
