The successful candidate will work in a hybrid work model anywhere within commutable distance of our office in Gothenburg!

What your day will look like:

• Provide visionary leadership to the R&D team, fostering innovation and guiding the development of new technologies and products
• Develop and implement effective product management strategies that align with the company's goals. Drive product roadmaps, manage lifecycles, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
• Lead and mentor a diverse team of developers, ensuring high morale and professional growth. Implement strategies to stabilise and enhance team dynamics, ensuring continuity and minimising disruption from past management changes
• Utilise Jira for tracking, ensure timely completion of ongoing projects, and maintain a clear roadmap for future developments
• Enhance the current testing processes, implement automated regression suites, and establish staging environments to minimize deployment issues
• Manage technical debt, especially concerning legacy systems, and drive the integration and consolidation of various systems to streamline operations and improve customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with the customer support team to address technical issues efficiently, particularly with high-support-call products during peak periods
• Ensure robust security practices are in place, including managing access to production environments and utilizing appropriate security tools
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO and SOC, implementing best practices to maintain and improve security and quality across all development processes

About You:

• At least a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is essential
• 7+ years in a technology leadership role, with a proven track record in managing complex software development projects
• 10+ years’ experience in software engineering
• Expertise in .NET, Windows, MS SQL Server, and experience with cloud-based multi-tenant systems. Familiarity with React and Flutter for web applications is a plus
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse development team
• An ability to Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, particularly in managing technical debt and enhancing product performance
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively between different teams and stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of software architecture and design principles
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal, is essential
• Legally authorised to work in Sweden
