Head of Demand Generation & Growth Marketing

About the Role  

We’re looking for a growth and demand gen leader to help organizations discover and use AssemblyAI’s powerful speech AI models to build world-class products. As an early leader on the marketing team, you’ll help build the foundation for how our org drives qualified sales pipeline and reaches new audiences, and scale programs as we grow. 

This is a critical leadership role that will set and meet ambitious goals, mature our channel strategy, craft campaigns and tactics that generate demand and leads, and drive pipeline in our most critical customer segments. And, you’ll partner closely with our sales, marketing, and BizOps teams to make it all happen. This role will report to the VP of Marketing. 

What You’ll Need

• 7+ years in B2B marketing. Experience working with developer audiences a plus
• Experience across working on and building out growth marketing and demandgen programs including campaigns, paid acquisition, website conversion, lifecycle, webinars, and field marketing
• A track record of going from 0 to 1, you’re excited to build from the ground up, iterate quickly, and work cross-functionally to solve problems.
• Experience being on a marketing team that has scaled from 5-50 members a plus. 
• Experience partnering closely with sales, revops, and biztech teams  
• A track record of hitting aggressive pipeline targets; you’re analytical and results-driven in your approach
• Experience with core marketing automation and lead management tools and experience helping a company build out the martech tool stack 
• Proven people management experience - you’re a leader that inspires great work and can build a strong team 

What You’ll Do

• Partner with finance and sales teams to set targets for marketing pipeline and report out on marketing progress and performance across channels and programs 
• Develop campaign strategies and roadmaps that achieve quarterly pipeline goals
• Collaborate with sales leadership on campaign strategy, lead management and marketing <> sales feedback loops
• Optimize existing nurture, paid media, and website conversion programs, and build new motions including our first account-based marketing motions and field marketing events
• Grow pipeline for commercial and strategic segments and partner with product marketing to understand our existing buyers and expand into new audiences 
• Manage and inspire our existing demand gen marketer, and hire the right team to fit AssemblyAI’s needs and growth targets
