We provide investment, relationship and practice management solutions that advisors use in helping clients achieve wealth, independence and purpose.The Job/What You'll Do:We can consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are close to our Concord, CA; Chicago, IL; Encino, CA; or Phoenix, AZ office.Responsibilities:• Shooting and editing original video content and creating high-impact motion graphics to deliver high-quality videos for various marketing channels, events, and other initiatives• Learning about the key video and other media deliverables of AssetMark and what is important to our clients• Developing processes and strategies to support efficiency models, training, and deployment of workflows and assets• Developing new creative concepts, collaborating with the Content Director, Events and Media on narrative, visual direction, and execution and managing their own workflow of projects from concept to completion• Creating visually stunning video and motion graphics content that engages and resonates with target audiences, ultimately building out a media library that aligns to AssetMark's brand and strategy• Clear understanding of preferred aspect ratios, frame rates, and rendering formats for various channels and platforms for optimal viewing and delivery• Developing narratives and creative ideas to deliver content in the most impactful way possible, while adhering to the brand guidelines• Collaborating to storyboard, script, and produce video and motion graphics projects from conception to completion• Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in video production and motion graphics to drive business goals• Working closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide creative input, and ensure that visual content meets expectations• Maintaining organized files and assets, and adhering to established workflows and processes to streamline production efficiency• Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and other departments to establish media strategy and align business goals with creative tactics• Participating in brainstorming sessions and ideation processes with marketing partners and other internal stakeholders to develop original and creative solutions that resonate with target audiences and align with project objectivesKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:• Proven leadership experience of creative teams• This person will need to have a strong motion graphics and video editing background, with the capability to shoot their own content and act as a Director of Photography• Strong understanding of visual storytelling principles, animation techniques, and design fundamentals• Excellent creative and conceptual thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into visually compelling content• Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics, composition, and typography• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively across the organization at all levels, including senior leadership team• Self-starter with a passion for learning new skills, having an ownership mindset and taking initiative• Highly flexible and able to adapt quickly to change• Collaborate with Content Director, Events and Media, Art Director, Design, and Content Creator & Scriptwriter deliver on expectations and media strategy• Support established post-production workflow and pipeline to deliver final content in required formats• Collaborate with other team members to maintain a vibrant and cohesive production process and environment• Consult on production, post-production, and media software and equipment needs• Experience developing a video marketing strategy for social media platforms and optimizing videos for various channels• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Davinci Resolve, Avid Media Composer, Audition, Pro Tools, Media Encoder, and After Effects• Proficiency in Microsoft Office a plus• Familiarity with AI tools and processes that can enhance production and post-production work a plus• Understanding of events and experience design (preferred)Education & Experience:• 5+ years of video production experience as a Producer/Editor, Motion Graphics Artist, Director, or similar role• Bachelor's degree in video production, videography, communications, or comparable work experience• An extensive portfolio or reel showcasing previous work in video production and motion graphics• Expertise in camera operating, lighting interview subjects, and audio engineering/sound design• Financial industry knowledge a plusWork Environment and Physical Demands• Travel is required for this position - approximately once a month.• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus• All employees will comply with company and OSHA standard workplace safety protocolsCompensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $90,000-$130,000.This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for a comprehensive sales incentive package and competitive benefits.Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered.
