Assistant Director of Recruiting Operations (Football)

Definition of Class

This position provides daily operational support to the assigned sport's recruiting program. The incumbent maintains and supervises the compliance software database, coordinates on-campus recruit visits, and prepares and updates student athlete prospect files.

Examples of Work Performed

Provides daily operational support to the assigned sport's recruiting program.
Maintains and supervises data entry into the ACS compliance software database.
Develops and presents ACS compliance reports for coaches and staff.
Coordinates on-campus visits and creates operational procedures relating to student athlete prospect tours.
Creates reports and maintains data files on each prospective student athlete for coaches and staff.
Coordinates correspondence and supervises phone call limits to and from head coach and prospective student athletes.
Meets daily with staff members to ensure recruitment efforts are in compliance within NCAA and SEC recruitment regulations and evaluate efficiency of staff operations.
Ensures that all tasks are in compliance with University, SEC and NCAA rules and regulations.
Performs similar or related duties as assigned or required.

Essential Functions

These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring Department.

Coordinates on-campus recruit visits.

Minimum Education/Experience

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.

AND

Experience:

One (1) year of experience related to the above described duties.

Substitution Statement: Related experience may be substituted for education, on a basis set forth and approved by the Department of Human Resources.
