Overview of Position
The Assistant Director of Security is responsible for supporting the Director of Safety & Security in the overall security and safety of the Hotel, our colleagues, and our guests. The incumbent will lead the daily activities and operations within the Safety and Security Department to ensure that a safe working environment exists and is maintained.
The incumbent will ensure that safety hazards are being identified and reported along with any suspicious or unusual activities or behaviors; assist in creating and implementing safety measures and procedures to enforce the code of conduct; creating and implementing SOPs, BCMs, and BCP policies; oversee all aspects of the Fire, Life, Health and Safety (FLHSS) guidelines; provide training and onboarding of new officers; complete administrative duties such as payroll; partner with the Director of Security in colleague coaching and counseling sessions; and create schedules. Experience with Time Saver, GuardTek, and MS Office products is preferable. Incumbent should have strong verbal and written communication skills.
