JOB TITLE: ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF SUPPORT SERVICES
REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF SUPPORT SERVICES
SALARY: ADMINISTRATOR
Job Goal
The Assistant Director of Support Services will Supervise, plan, organize and direct the maintenance, repair and alteration of district buildings and grounds
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma
- Four year college degree or years of experience in the related field desired
- Demonstrated experience in building and grounds maintenance
- Demonstrated experience in quality improvement and team building process
- Knowledge of and adheres to all policies, regulations, and rules.
Core Job Functions
- Supervision of Building and Grounds Maintenance staff.
- Supervise, Coordinate activities and work schedules that result in increased levels of customer satisfaction.
- Help Develop systems that provide maximum educational benefits to the educational process.
- Supervise the Buildings and Grounds Maintenance staff in such a way as to enhance productivity, effectiveness, efficiency, team work, and shared leadership.
- Insure that quality maintenance is conduct by which repairs and replacements are made to reduce the rate of deterioration of District facilities.
- Insure necessary systems that provides employee awareness and a safe environment for students, staff, and District patrons are enforced.
- Maintain and enhance an overall Building and Grounds Maintenance program to prioritize work, increase productivity and overall buildings safety.
- Maintain and enhance preventive maintenance programs which will promote long term life to District facilities.
- Assist with the coordination of the use of District facilities by community groups.
- Analysis and planning, determine cost effective means of project completion.
- Work with director of support service, architects, engineers, general contractors and other professional associates as needed.
- Performs all duties in a safe and prudent manner as directed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
