If you are at your best building relationships with colleagues, facilitating and designing learning solutions, tackling big picture challenges with practical, actionable solutions, and are energized by developing people and their long-term careers, then this is the role for you!

Sitting at the company’s core, the GTM&D team collaborates with all parts of the business, operating at a variety of speeds, depending on the project and audience, and so an ability to adapt your style will be sure to set you up for success. The team consults in close partnership with our country HR teams, employees, and leaders worldwide to drive the PRH global talent strategy at a local and global level, including with our parent company, Bertelsmann, headquartered in Germany.

In this role, you’ll report into the Director, and will work closely with the team to accelerate our development efforts in the US. Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing the day-to-day delivery of the US learning portfolio of offerings including promoting, enhancing, and developing new and existing programs in line with employee and business needs
  • Delivering impactful and meaningful learning and development (L&D) content solutions that enable employees, leaders, and teams to tackle real business challenges in a timely and responsive way
  • Working hand-in-hand with the US DEI team to accomplish the PRH DEI strategic plan through tailored solutions
  • Serving as a go-to liaison for DEI partnerships and programming, supporting employees and managers with DEI L&D planning and individual DEI personal development
  • Advising and consulting with managers and leaders on personal and team development including working with team leaders to understand, scope, design, facilitate, and evaluate team engagements
  • In collaboration with team members, participating in annual Learning Needs Analysis exercises and proactively build other “listening” mechanisms into day-to-day operations
  • Managing the front-line skill and technical training curriculum and relationships with internal training stakeholders. In cooperation with internal trainers, reviewing and implementing effective, real-time, and accessible training that reflects today’s hybrid/remote working environment and being responsive to the changing needs of the business and our learners
  • Actively overseeing, enhancing, and promoting the PRH US Growth and Development tools, including the twice-annual US Personal Development Conversations. This includes training employees and managers to get the most from these meaningful conversations and, in line with the global principles and efforts, continuously reviewing and developing the tools and processes to ensure they continue to deliver on their purpose to support the ongoing performance of our employees, managers, and teams
  • Working with GTM&D colleagues and the global Learning community on joint projects and collaborations that further the development of employees both in the US and globally
  • Managing the roll-out of offerings created by our shareholder and corporate teams to support employee development including tailoring communications, creating roll-out timelines, and liaising with global colleagues.

What we are looking for you to bring:

  • Demonstrated experience scoping, designing, and delivering best-in-class learning programs and solutions that are audience and goal centric
  • Experienced in centering and integrating diversity, equity, and inclusion into your work
  • Strong and proven virtual and in-person facilitation and team coaching skills
  • Natural curiosity with experience advising and coaching employees, managers, and teams on their learning & development
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at different stages at the same time
  • Strong mentoring skills, with proven experience supporting more junior team members
  • Ability to build and maintain great working relationships with experience operating and delivering solutions in a matrix organization
  • Analytical skills with a good knowledge of Excel and capacity to extract data to evaluate programs and solutions, and inform decisions
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to work across multiple USA time zones, and preferably with an ability to commute into our office in Manhattan for programs or events
  • Highly adaptive; an individual who thrives in a changing and dynamic environment

This is an amazing opportunity to join an integral team within an industry leading company where you’ll see the continued impact of all your hard work.
