What You’ll Do:

Play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and reliability of financial statements and reports, adhering to both FCI/dsm-firmenich Accounting Rules and local accounting standards. With management responsibilities encompassing daily accounting functions, monthly financial statement closing, and support in business forecasts and budgets, this role ensures profitability and growth analysis, providing valuable financial advice and insight for improved decision-making processes. Oversees accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, monthly financial close, budgeting, forecasting, and offers financial guidance in driving growth and making strategic business decisions.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for executing financial control, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timely closure of financial statements.
• Manage daily accounting functions, including customer billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and credit management, with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
• Provide support to Operations and R&D through ad-hoc analysis, projects, and financial advice to enhance decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with the CFO in budget and RAF preparations, management reporting and consolidation, and financial audits.
• Organize and oversee local financial activities such as inventory and asset counts to maintain financial integrity.

You bring:

• Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant working experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Finance expert with comprehensive knowledge of Finance and Control processes, emphasizing continuous improvement and a proactive mindset.
• Prior management experience overseeing financial processes such as AP/AR/Treasury, including managing employees.
• Proven track record in managing monthly/quarterly/annual financial closing processes and site controlling with expertise in inventory control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, ability to prioritize and multitask effectively, interpret data from various formats, and foster communication and collaboration across all organizational levels.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, Vicinity, and SAP is advantageous.
