Southeastern Louisiana University Department of Athletic Marketing and Student Promotion invites applications for the position of Assistant Marketing Director for Graphic Design.
The successful candidate will conceptualize and create graphics for the promotion of Southeastern Athletics as well as assist with Athletic Marketing. Additionally, the position will help in the oversight of a student worker staff, interns, and Graduate Assistants.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. A minimum of one year of graphic design experience using the Adobe suite. Interpersonal communication skills in order to interact effectively with a variety of clients, support staff and vendors.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Graphic Design or related field from an accredited university. Master’s degree from an accredited university. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
The ability to accept feedback as part of the creative process. A working knowledge in maintaining files and image storage. Proficient with using a photography camera to shoot as well as the ability to set up a set (lights, backdrop, etc.) if needed. The ability to teach and train students in all facets of graphic design. Experience in the sports industry.
