Job Summary

Regent University’s College of Arts & Sciences is seeking to fill a full-time, Assistant Professor in the area of Biblical Studies and Christian Ministry. This position will be located at Regent University’s Virginia Beach, VA campus.

Qualifications: Ph.D. in Historical Theology from a regionally accredited institution is required. In addition, candidates must have a strong exegetical background and training in hermeneutics and biblical Greek and Hebrew; a biblical theology approach to theology; administrative experience; demonstrated research and writing skills; and the ability to develop and adhere to a research and writing agenda. Candidates must be fully supportive of the mission and direction of Regent University and the College of Arts and Sciences to develop and raise "Christian Leadership to Change the World." Experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with simultaneous multiple tasks is highly desired.

Expectations include: 1) a dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning; 2) a record of or potential for academic scholarship; 3) the ability to teach undergraduate level courses; 4) experience with online instructional technology; and 5) a willingness to enthusiastically embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements.
