The University of Indianapolis (Ulndy) Department of Theatre in the Shaheen College of Arts & Sciences seeks applicants for an Assistant Professor of Theatre. This is a full-time, tenure-track appointment. The Assistant Professor of Theatre will teach courses in Play Analysis, Dramaturgy, Theatre History, Playwriting, Applied Theatre, Acting, and other courses as needed. Interdisciplinary work across academic fields is highly prized. The position will also include the opportunity to direct at least one show per academic year and advise on the completion of senior capstones.
Additional service to the University will include acting as an academic advisor for majors within the department as well as committee work within the university.
