The Department of Biomedical Sciences, Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, Marshall University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the level of ASSISTANT or ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR. We are particularly interested in applicants whose research focuses on host-pathogen interactions, including bacterial and viral pathogenesis, immune responses to pathogens and vaccination, and innate immunity.
The successful candidate will be expected to develop/maintain an extramurally funded research program, teach medical students, participate in the interdisciplinary Biomedical Sciences graduate program, and contribute to the service activities of the department and university.
