Overview

A Spavia, Associate leader is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functions of the spa You will provide ongoing support and training focusing on overall spa performance, cleanliness, sales, and upholding the Spavia standard. You must possess a high level of communication skills, a positive leadership style, and being the team “ cheerleader.”

Requirements:

REQUIRED CRITERIA TO MEET: MUST BE SALES ORIENTED- HIGHLY competitive with Sales and Meet and exceed personal sales goals, create and develop sales membership training, provides exceptional reviews for salon culture and the overall spas reputation throughout both team members and guests, confidently and correctly performing all associate leader duties

IN-SPA REQUIREMENTS: Full-time, ranging from 32 - 38 hours per week, required in spa. 20-25 at front desk hours. Schedules should be based on spa needs and necessary requirements. Availability is open and flexible to assist with nights, weekends and mandatory necessities to the salon; Available by phone during spa hours and calls back in timely manner

Sales

  • In Charge of Membership sales and hitting team goals
  • Creating a sales membership plan & implementing it
  • Distinguishing areas of missed opportunities with each employee- training & retraining of team members
  • Daily sales are checked- Entered correctly
  • Providing recognition and praise for stand-out occurrences
  • Minimize client cancellations

Management

  • Employee satisfaction, growth and retention is the main focus
  • Shift Coverage when needed as a last resort
  • Prepare quarterly Team Meetings with Spa Manager
  • Effective implementation of tasks given by Spa Manager regarding:
  • New and existing policies and procedures
  • New hire training and shadowing
  • Continued training with existing employees
  • Follow up on tasks and training
  • Informs Spa Manager of issues in Spa
  • All issues/concerns/negative comments expressed to you from a team member or guest must be communicated to management within 24 hours.
  • Biweekly calls with Spa Manager

Customer Service

  • Exceptional customer service throughout the whole team
  • Make sure the Spavia standards are being implemented and maintained
  • All client issues are handled within 24-48 hours and all clients are satisfied; Follow up with Guest Services for issues needing handled
  • Receive only positive guest reviews
  • All team members are fully aware of what they can do for guests and when assistance is needed

Cleanliness & Maintenance

  • Biweekly Mock Audits of the Spa; shares feedback with Spa Manager
  • Verifies deep cleanings have been completed in the Spa
  • Spa Audits must receive 90% (done monthly by Spa Manager)
  • Troubleshoots and helps repair equipment when capable and trains team to do so; equipment issues are communicated to to spa manager
  • Update and follow up daily on maintenance issues

Pay: $20.00 - $45.00 per hour

  • Sales: 2 years (Preferred)
