Job Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah. Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on entity reference data across all entity types that exist across the globe based on expert knowledge of Know your Customer (KYC) and Client on-boarding functions. Influence reference data quality improvements by identifying data anomaly patterns and suggesting modes of improvement. Brainstorm ways to enhance systems, existing processes, and manual touch points for efficiency gains and transform into development plans with appropriate sign-off from all relevant team leads. Resolve requests and queries from our customers in a timely and effective manner. Work closely with development teams to understand systemic as well as feed flows. Conduct data curation to assess themes of inaccuracy in entity reference data, suggest improvement methods and translate them into reality. Partner with various business stakeholders to resolve comprehensive reference data problems across multiple teams and divisions. Obtain business requirements, translate into design plans, and design solutions for new business use cases. Remote work permitted two (2) days per week from within commuting distance of Salt Lake City, Utah.
Job Requirements: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Management, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Management, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience (with Master’s) or three (3) years of experience (with Bachelor’s) with: using SQL or a similar relational database for software development and maintenance; using Alteryx or similar data visualization tools for data analysis; developing software tools and automating products using programming languages such as Python; gathering business requirements to ensure product usability and cost-of-ownership goals; and collaborating with business stakeholders in a global, enterprise-level environment.
