About This Role

The Associate Director Field Excellence oversees the US organization’s CRM, Field Deployment and Field Communication capabilities. Responsibilities include all aspects of governance, design, execution, and support for all field teams (MS, Rare Disease, MA&R, Biosimilars, Neuro-Psych and any other new USO franchises). This role requires close partnership with all field leadership teams (DGM/Exec Dir/etc.) and Business Unit Leaders to ensure tight alignment between information collected and disseminated through our CRM system, business unit strategy and operational activities to support field effectiveness. This position will work closely with the data and analytics (D&A), Customer and Market Insights (CM&I), Forecasting & Analytics, Finance, Human Resources, IT, and supporting vendors. Field Deployment, CRM and Field Communications specialists or dedicated contractors/vendors report to this role and manage the daily operations of this function.

What You Will Do
  • Provide strategic leadership and prioritization for our Field Technology in close partnership with the leadership of our field teams. Develop and implement the vision and strategy for sales and marketing tools and capabilities.
  • Engage in long-term planning for major CRM enhancements and technical capability building in close partnership with our IT partners. Regularly lead Lessons Learned and Best Practice Sharing sessions to assess and bring forward learnings to future programs.
  • Improve our field support model guiding the team to close gaps in training or technical capabilities to resolve the most business critical needs.
  • Evaluate proposed field deployment changes and routinely analyze existing field effectiveness to determine the appropriate resourcing and targeting of personal promotion.
  • Improve processes to support regular call planning, targeting and alignment activities to enable a highly agile team with predictable and controlled resource requirements
  • Regularly enhance and deploy field communication capabilities for clear and complaint access to material and information for our US based field teams.

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • 7+ years of Commercial Biotech/Pharma Experience
  • Experience with Veeva CRM, Salesforce.com, Javelin/Zaidyn, Veeva Align and Excel
  • Detail oriented with a strong track record of executing on successful projects
  • Ability to conduct in-depth analysis, but also present high-level results in a simplified manner
