About the Role
:

The Associate Director of Government Marketing is responsible for leading the go-to-market strategy for the public sector. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of health and human service agencies and is able to translate the needs of government partners into differentiated positioning and messaging for Unite Us solutions. They will bring a perfect blend of the art and science of marketing with an in-depth understanding of integrated campaign planning and how to communicate effectively with government partners.

This person will report directly to the VP of Marketing. This position requires a long track record of government marketing and communications in the health and human services sector.

What You'll Do:

  • Responsible for developing content, messaging, and go-to-market programs that fuel brand awareness, pipeline growth, and customer success with our government audiences.
  • Partner closely with the Regulatory and Government Affairs team to serve as their key Marketing business partner to build, develop and execute government sales and legislative strategies and an integrated marketing plan.
  • Develop an annual marketing plan including quarterly updates, revisions, and modifications to the plan, and coordinate the specific objectives of the marketing plan with all functional departments of the company.
  • Serve as the go-to person to write, create, manage, and publish compelling content, including blog posts, articles, e-books, video content, website content, social media, podcasts, and more.
  • Communicate effectively and manage communications to key stakeholders across the business.
  • Think creatively and strategically while also overseeing successful execution.

What's Required:

  • 7+ years Marketing and Communications experience in a role managing multi-channel marketing campaigns (e.g., email, direct mail, print, online and /or social media).
  • Experience working with or in government agencies and/or in the health and human service sector
  • Experience working with large and complex audiences.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build systems and calendars to provide the most up-to-date and accurate information related to brand strategy and campaigns.
  • Strong organizational skills and track record of entrepreneurial projects and improvements in previous positions.
  • Strong project management, positive attitude, and a no-task-too-small mentality
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with clearly and consistent messaging

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • This position is remote, U.S. based
  • The target pay range for this role is: $115,000-$150,000 This salary range represents our national target range for this role. Some geographic areas may have higher target ranges.
  • This position may require 10% travel
