Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law is seeking an Associate Director of Career Development to guide and advise students and alumni on their career paths. The Associate Director of Career Development works directly with students on their career development and professional skills training, and collaborates with the CDO team to prepare resources, provide programs, and expand opportunities for employment.

Skills and Qualifications
Required: J.D. degree; 2+ years’ legal experience. Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills; Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities; Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with students, alumni, staff, faculty, and employers; Strong commitment to diversity and ability to work effectively with individuals from different backgrounds; Superior oral and written communication skills; Ability to effectively handle and meet deadlines. Strong technology abilities, with high degree of comfort using Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Preferred: One or more years in BigLaw; Experience in career development/coaching.

Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a criminal, education, and employment screening. Qualified individuals with criminal histories will be considered for employment in compliance with applicable laws.
This is a Restricted, Exempt, 40 hour per week position.
Expected Pay Range: $81,900.00 - $91,000.00 per year

Actual compensation may vary based on relevant factors such as work experience, market conditions, education/training, and skill level.
