What You’ll Do:
- Support the launch and execution of all events, including in-person and virtual programming, for Morning Brew B2B verticals (Emerging Tech, Retail, Marketing, HR, and any new 2022 verticals).
- Own planning and logistics for a subset of events and assist with additional events as needed -- including production, venues, catering, printing, signage, etc.
- Learn the basics of client (sponsor) management and communication across multi-sponsor and single sponsor events.
- Manage event registration platform across events, including supporting Senior Events Manager with ticketing for paid Summits.
- Collaborate with Morning Brew Account Management team to ensure timely execution of sponsorship deliverables.
- Collaborate with Morning Brew Growth team to support audience recruitment as needed. Communicate event information and updates to ensure a seamless recruitment process.
- Liaise with Morning Brew Design team to share relevant information for developing creative assets.
- Provide on-site support at all events, and manage a variety of front-of-house and back-of-house tasks
- Eventually lead forums, roundtables, and virtual events independently.
- Be an enterprising, entrepreneurial, and productive team contributor, identifying new means of innovation to grow Morning Brew’s impact with all constituents in advance of, on-site, and following every event produced.
What Makes You Qualified:
- 2-3 years of postgraduate professional experience
- Experience with both virtual and in-person events
- Event management software experience (i.e. Splash, Cvent, Bizzabo)
- Ability to travel and work evenings if/when necessary
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills, with a solid ability to focus on the details as much as the big picture
- Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on customer service to ensure seamless communication across internal teams as well as external vendors and partners
- Team Player: You take satisfaction in the success of something larger than yourself and are always willing to lend a hand
- Self-Starter: You are enthusiastic about owning your own projects and have an entrepreneurial spirit with a track record of taking initiative
