Associate HR Specialist - Temporary Position

We're hiring a temporary Associate HR Specialist, to cover an upcoming leave of absence. This role will provide outstanding HR support to employees, first-line managers, and HR Business Partners. We are looking for someone who will be responsible for accurate and timely administrative for the HR team. This includes maintaining and updating all files and records pertaining to employees, staffing, salary administration, talent management, benefits, HRIS, headcount analysis, organization charts and budget analysis. Under minimal direction, you will implement multiple established administrative projects and assist in developing, assessing and improving department procedures and systems. This role can be hybrid, with three days working remote and two days in our HQ in Pawtucket, RI.

A day in the life:

  • Be the main point of contact for general HR employee questions and direct employees to the right source to resolve benefits questions, payroll questions, and day to day employee inquiries
  • Handle new-hire onboarding process, offboarding and conduct exit meetings
  • Maintain employee files, ensuring the accuracy, organization and legal compliance of all employee-related documentation
  • Update and maintain organization charts for the business unit
  • Maintain headcount reports for HRBPs, Finance and Talent Acquisition
  • Build and maintain various files, spreadsheets and/or SuccessFactors query reports to accommodate employee recordkeeping needs, trigger future actions, and ensure completeness of data and accuracy of organization charts, employee data reports, etc.
  • Organize and track documentation associated with the annual performance review process and manage Performance Improvement Plans
  • Ad hoc projects and general administrative support for HR team

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Management preferred
  • 3-5 years relevant HR experience
  • Proficiency in MS-Office applications; Prior experience with HRIS systems a plus
  • Demonstrated success in coordinating multiple HR projects
  • Experience in a customer/client service focused environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, set priorities, work under pressure and follow through with assigned tasks independently
  • Strong project management and time keeping skills
  • Innovative problem solver who is solutions oriented
  • Detail oriented with excellent follow through and interpersonal skills
