Job Summary

The Associate Marketing Manager of Beverage reports to the Sr. Marketing Manager of Beverage and will support driving strategy and execution of bar and beverage platforms. This includes Chili's core menu, bar menu, LTOs and Margarita of the Month.

Your Key Job Functions

• Support driving strategy and execution of bar and beverage platforms inclusive of core menu, bar menu, LTOs and Marg of the Month.

• Keep beverage marketing calendar and process moving and up to date (ideation, briefing, implementation).

• Provide input for beverage innovation strategy: core menu, relevant beverage holidays, seasonal offers and value platforms

• Ensure brand has a robust pipeline of beverage options by working with our Consumer Insight team and beverage suppliers.

• Support Marg of the Month strategy by proactively working with Beverage Senior Manager and beverage suppliers to create seasonal, quality and experiential margs.

• Own the monthly rollout by working with cross functional partners in finance, supply chain and Operations to garner approval

• Coordinate timelines for beverage garnishes and track roll out process with Supply Chain

• Support marketing communications to ensure implementation across marketing channels (digital, email, social, in restaurant, etc).

• Manage in-restaurant beverage contests by partnering with operations team. Leverage opportunities to get behind the bar and provide input on margarita and cocktail recipes!

• Collaborate with suppliers to identify available partner resources (alcoholic and non alcoholic) to support training, marketing and consumer analysis

• Provide event support as needed, showcasing beverage innovation

• Attend weekly meetings with beverage agency, menu strategy teams, and cross functional beverage team.

• Attend regular meeting and innovation sessions with supplier partners (alcohol and non-alcohol)

• Manage Bar Reference manual updates by managing agency communications, line build and recipe updates with Culinary Operations and providing timeline for annual reprint.

• Attend regular meetings with beverage supplier contacts

• Manage out of stock communications and processes between restaurants and beverage agency

What You Bring to the Team

• Bachelor's degree (Business Administration, focused on Marketing or Management preferred)

• 1-2 years of Marketing, brand management experience (client or agency)

• Strong project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate actionable recommendations

• Proactive, flexible and results-oriented

• Ability to balance multiple priorities, prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

• Customer focused with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work directly with cross-functional managers, and outside suppliers

• Not afraid to get behind the bar and play mixologist

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong work ethic.

• Microsoft Office proficiency required.
