The candidate for the New Projects Associate on the AES Clean Energy Wind Development Team position will be based out of our Louisville, Colorado office. Duties will include managing the origination of greenfield wind projects throughout the U.S. The successful candidate will have the skills to succeed in leading multiple projects and supporting a variety of business development efforts in a fast-paced environment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
The Project Manager within the Wind Development Team will partner with cross-functional teams in activities leading to the successful origination of new wind projects. Specific duties will include:

Negotiating site control agreements with new landowners to support wind development activities.

Manage transition of projects from the New Projects to Project Development Teams.

Act as a representative for AES Clean Energy in meetings with the community and local officials.

The expected salary for this position, at commencement of employment, is between $75,000 and $110,500/Annual; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements such as annual bonus, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, life, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment.
