COLOR needs a whip-smart Associate Producer to temporarily join our team! Someone to help our producers manage a variety of creative projects end-to-end. This human (we’re not currently hiring AI, sorry bots) will be responsible for supporting the team with the goal of delivering creative projects to clients on time, on budget, and beyond quality expectations. Our ideal candidate can roll with the punches, think critically, solve problems on the fly, and take the lead on projects as competency is gained. Bonus points if you make us laugh. This is a contract position with a three-month term.

What You’ll Do
Project Management
- Work in close collaboration with Producers on a wide variety of assigned creative projects – owning multiple tasks throughout the course of a project
- Set up new projects in COLOR’s internal systems as we learn about them
- Schedule and attend internal meetings, take diligent notes, and capture and communicate next steps and assign action items to the internal teams
- Submit resourcing requests and work to keep the resourcing team updated with schedule/staff changes
- Build project management boards & deliverables trackers from templates, adapting each to the unique needs of the project
- Source, coordinate, and negotiate rates for freelance resources like talent, crew, equipment, permits, locations, travel, etc.
- Submit and manage deal memo requests to book freelance resources when necessary
- Monitor project budgets through weekly actual audits, flagging issues to the Producer or Project Director early and often
- Occasionally act as the Producer’s right hand on set and manage delegated tasks, which may require some travel
- Track project milestones and deadlines, chasing leads for reviews when action is needed
- Quality check and organize final client deliverables, ensuring everything is accounted for and correct
- Manage and participate in internal initiatives and projects as needed (ie. company events, client gifts, marketing efforts, etc.)
- Estimate and build project budgets with Producer or Executive Producer oversight
- Own and facilitate project management on selected projects
Account Management
- Set up and attend client meetings, take diligent notes, and capture and communicate next steps and action items to the client in recap emails
- As competency is gained:
- Drive client communication over email and during meetings, from project inception through final delivery and billing
- Manage client relationships on selected projects

Compensation
$36 - $40 per hour
Because this is a temporary, contract position, this role does not include benefits, paid time off, or 401(k) participation.
