The Associate Product Manager will provide support to the Regional Product Manager(s) in the running of their assigned product lines.
Specific responsibilities include:
Assist in product launch process including (but not limited to): product setup, packaging localization, product specifications, marketing collateral, documentation, training material, etc. (U.S, Canada, and Latin American markets)
Project manage New Product Introduction launch schedules and ensure launch alignment across the Americas by working closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, marketing, planning, etc.)
Collect and analyze market data, including competitive landscape, and feedback to the team and stakeholders the information to help shape future requirements, features, and end products
Understand the channels in which Belkin sells its products through (Retail, distribution, VARs, dealers, etc.), where our products sell through, and top accounts for multiple product lines
Increase sales and profits of selected products to targeted levels. Create forecasts for assigned product line and monitor sales to determine which course of action is required
Engage with cross-functional teams to effectively manage product pricing and promotion calendars
Provide sales training information and classes as they relate to product, competitors, and the marketplace
Identify key opportunities for improvement
Education and Experience Requirements:
Four-year college degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics (or other quantitative degrees)
The ability to derive conclusions from data and clearly communicate findings is critical
Strong quantitative and analytical skills, problem solving, and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to changes and new ideas
Can work independently and manage a complete project from concept to completion
Exceptional computer skills including MS Excel and PowerPoint
