Job Description
Job Summary:
The Associate Product Manager will provide support to the Regional Product Manager(s) in the running of their assigned product lines.
Specific responsibilities include:
  • Assist in product launch process including (but not limited to): product setup, packaging localization, product specifications, marketing collateral, documentation, training material, etc. (U.S, Canada, and Latin American markets)
  • Project manage New Product Introduction launch schedules and ensure launch alignment across the Americas by working closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, marketing, planning, etc.)
  • Collect and analyze market data, including competitive landscape, and feedback to the team and stakeholders the information to help shape future requirements, features, and end products
  • Understand the channels in which Belkin sells its products through (Retail, distribution, VARs, dealers, etc.), where our products sell through, and top accounts for multiple product lines
  • Increase sales and profits of selected products to targeted levels. Create forecasts for assigned product line and monitor sales to determine which course of action is required
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to effectively manage product pricing and promotion calendars
  • Provide sales training information and classes as they relate to product, competitors, and the marketplace
  • Identify key opportunities for improvement
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Four-year college degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics (or other quantitative degrees)
  • The ability to derive conclusions from data and clearly communicate findings is critical
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, problem solving, and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to changes and new ideas
  • Can work independently and manage a complete project from concept to completion
  • Exceptional computer skills including MS Excel and PowerPoint
