Tax Intern - Summer 2025

Assured Guaranty is looking for a summer intern to join their Finance team for a 10-week assignment, where the intern will assist with tax return preparation and financial statement disclosures.

Skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Organizational skills
Interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of GAAP and insurance statutory income tax provisions
Assist with the preparation of federal and state income tax returns
Assist in preparing state premium and municipal tax returns
Assist in the preparation of quarterly federal and state estimated tax payment calculations

Education

Candidates studying finance or accounting preferred
