Job Title: Accounts Receivable ClerkJob DescriptionThe Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for managing and maintaining all aspects of the accounts receivable function. This includes processing invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.Key Responsibilities:• Process and manage accounts receivable invoices and payments.• Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts to ensure timely collection.• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.• Prepare and send out monthly statements to customers.• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any billing issues or discrepancies.• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.• Assist in month-end closing processes and prepare reports as needed.• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.Qualifications:• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.• Excellent organizational and time management skills.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Soft Skills• Excellent organizational skills• Excellent oral, phone, and written English communication skills• Ability to cope with varying frequency of incoming requests• Strong team-play work ethic• Professional and positive working relationshipsWork SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Branford, Connecticut.About Aston Carter:Aston Carter provides world-class corporate talent solutions to thousands of clients across the globe.
