- Purchase materials, supplies, or equipment for the business.- Negotiate deals with suppliers to secure the best prices.- Research and evaluate potential item selections.- Maintain inventory levels and track current products.- Develop and monitor purchase orders.- Communicate with the management team to ensure order accuracy.- Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels and reporting any discrepancies.Skills & Qualifications- Strong working knowledge of Excel- Interest in Healthcare Buying/Procurement/Supply Chain- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or technical discipline.- Focus on the manual process of entering capital into Infor and work with Strata.- Procurement, sourcing, category management, vendor performance management experience required.- Demonstrated ability to successfully process purchase orders in multiple systems.- Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills.- Health care experience a plus.- Strong negotiating, analytical and computer skills (Microsoft applications) essential.- Experience with Ariba solutions preferred.About Aston Carter:Aston Carter provides world-class corporate talent solutions to thousands of clients across the globe.
