Description:• Interpret complex customer contracts to process rebate payments. Update internal files and databases.• Responsible for the monthly, quarterly and annual calculation of rebates.• Ability to manipulate, analyze and organize large amounts of data from numerous sources using MS Excel.• Manage new and existing rebate programs. Make necessary additions or adjustments to rebate calculations to ensure they are up to date with the latest terms of the contract.• Work closely with Sr. Management related to new contracts and rebate programs.• Analyze and resolve rebate discrepancies and communicate with external customers. Develop action plans to bring closure to open issues.• Proactively address issues and recommend solutions.• Respond in a timely manner to inquiries from both internal and external customers.• Ability to make recommendations to streamline or improve the rebate process.• Participation in special projects and perform additional duties as required.Qualifications:• Degree in Accounting/ Finance or related field from an accredited university (in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, 5 years of equivalent Accounting/ Finance experience with a High School Diploma or GED) is required.• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus• Interested candidates must possess high ethical standards with strong verbal and written communication skills• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required (use of vlookup function, pivot tables, formulas, etc.)• Experience with Oracle or other major ERP system for a minimum of one year is requiredAbout Aston Carter:Aston Carter provides world-class corporate talent solutions to thousands of clients across the globe.
