Job Title: Speech and Language AnnotatorJob DescriptionIn support of our commitment to enabling, expanding, and enhancing interactions with our customers, we are now developing speech and language technology. We are seeking experienced full and part-time Speech and Language Annotators to transcribe and annotate speech. The candidate must be capable of delivering high quality under aggressive time constraints. Specifically, the Annotator will:- Provide hands-on transcription and annotation services.- Translate established guidelines into daily work practices.- Work with management on workload scheduling and deliverables.In this role, you will get to show your exceptional attention to detail and follow-through. You will also capitalize on your:- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.- Strong analytical skills and ability to quickly analyze data to draw and present conclusions with actionable steps.- Ability to work efficiently on tasks while maintaining a high-level of accuracy.- Ability to multitask across several speech domains and work autonomously with minimum direction.Responsibilities:- Annotating the ground truth data, auditing programmatically to generate data sets to evaluate the experience, and working with product.- Looking into the created/generated test evaluation data sets and annotating and creating bucket failures for the ground truth data sets.- Collaborating with product engineering and data analysts to look at data sets based on data guidelines.- Analyzing English language conversations.Hard Skills• Strong understanding of the English language• Familiarity with APIs• Common sense logic skills• Ability to understand how different high-level system blocks work in tandem• 2 years of relevant experienceSoft Skills• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills• Strong analytical skills• Ability to work efficiently on tasks while maintaining a high-level of accuracy• Ability to multitask and work autonomously with minimum directionJob TypeThis is a contract position with a duration of 4 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Seattle, Washington and some days remote.Work EnvironmentOur audio space is an overall fun space to be at. The role involves various audio experiences such as talking, listening to music, listening to the radio, potentially watching live sports, or watching the news. Anything that has a playback request falls under this role's charter. This role is created to improve the accuracy and quality of the product we are offering.
